At Klompenfabriek Traa, craftsmanship and tradition are at the heart of everything we do. Our history dates back to Liempde, where our family has been making clogs for generations. In the 19th century, Liempde was an important center for the clog-making industry, with dozens of workshops producing handmade clogs. With the arrival of electricity in 1929, many clog makers transitioned to machine production. While many businesses disappeared, our family preserved the craft and carried it forward.

Today, Luuk Traa is the proud owner of Klompenfabriek Traa. Although clogs are no longer produced in Liempde, we remain specialists in the sale of high-quality clogs. With a wide selection of traditional and modern clogs, we ensure that this unique heritage lives on.
